Our People
At Modern Technology & Radibems, we consider our talented and dedicated staff as our most valuable resource. We rely on them to meet all customer requirements at all times. As a service company, we place the highest priority on ensuring our people are well-trained, well supported and technically competent. They are the frontline representatives of the company that clients and the public rely on. We provide training and motivation for our people, making our company a better place to work and grow.

Leadership Team
Our top management maintains a very active role in the operations of the business. A fortnightly meeting enables them to closely monitor the directions and achievements by the company.

Management Team
Modern Technology as well as Radibems is blessed with strong support and assistance from managers and heads of departments to run its multi-service business operations. They are technically competent managers with vast experience.

 

Board of Directors

YBhg. Dato' Dr. Mohd. Shahari Ahmad Jabar

Dato Dr. Mohd Shahari Ahmad Jabar, aged 70, a Malaysian was appointed to the Board on 15 February 2005. Dato’ Shahari obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from University Malaya in 1960. He was awarded a Dutch Government Fellowship in 1970 and obtained his Master in Social Science from the International Institute of Social Studies, Hague, Holland in 1972. In 1974, he was awarded the Fullbright-Hays Fellowship and obtained his PH.D (Political Science) from University of Hawaii in 1978. In 1990, as a nominee of the Government of Malaysia, he attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School, Boston, USA.  Upon graduation in 1960, he was inducted into the Malaysian Civil Service, and served in several capacities at national and international levels, until his retirement in 1991. He is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Media Prima Berhad as well as the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, Audit Committee and Nomination Committee of Media Prima Berhad. He sits on the board of The New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd, Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Berhad Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad, Uni.Asia General Insurance Berhad, Uni.Asia Life Assurance Berhad, EON Capital Berhad, EON Bank Berhad and MIMB Investment Bank Berhad (formerly known as Malaysian International Merchant Bankers Berhad).

 
En. Mohamed Rafique Merican

En Mohamed Rafique Merican, aged 42, joined Radicare in July 2004. He is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom and a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Prior to joining Radicare, he was the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of Malakoff Bhd since 2002. Previously, he has held several positions in Taiping Consolidated Bhd and Amanah Capital Partners Bhd. Over a period of approximately fifteen years, he has accumulated vast experience in management and corporate finance.


 
En. Mohd Nasir Talib

Graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, USA with Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Has over 18 years of extensive experience in technology management of maintenance services, the development of technical human resources and structuring the most relevant and appropriate operation model to deliver the services. A member of American Association of Medical Instrumentation, Committee member, Biomedical Engineering Association of Malaysia and a Proterm Committee of Manufacturers, Traders, Service Providers for Medical Devices.

Ir. Zuhairi Yusoff
General Manager

Graduated from University Technology Malaysia in 1987 with Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) (Hon) and completed his Master in Business Administration (MBA) from University Utara Malaysia in 2005. A registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineering Malaysia (BEM), a Corporate Member to the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and also a member of the Biomedical Engineers Association Malaysia (BEAM). Whilst with the Royal Malaysian Navy, he has gained vast experience in managing and monitoring all aspect of fleet aircraft engineering and maintenance activities and policies.

Proven ability to implement effective policies and procedures, enhance productivity, and increase efficiency while maintaining high quality operations within budget constraints.
 

Zakariya Ibrahim
Business Development, Human Resource & Administration


Initially trained in the field of Finance and Accountancy, Zakariya later decided to pursue his academics ambition by continuing his education specialising in Business Administration and has obtained his Masters in Business Administration in 1996. Experienced in the financial sector, housing development and the construction industry, prior leaving for the UK to further his studies in 1989. Joined Radibems in 2006 one year after his return to Malaysia, Zakariya was previously attached to the Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA), London’s office where he was involved in the marketing and promotion of “Malaysia: An Investment Destination” to foreign investors. Accustomed to dealing with multinational corporations and investors based in the UK and Europe, he is considered an asset to the expansion and business development of Radibems.
